Election 2016 is well underway but there is an unusual high level of unpredictability which could determine the fate of this race. So, why are many Americans still undecided and how can the leading candidates win them over?
In a recent focus group, we asked 29 undecided voters in Ohio how they felt about the current state of Election 2016, and the challenges both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton face in trying to move them.
Some examples of what we found include:
- Nearly every group participant prefer positive messages over attack ads.
- Clinton’s presidency could heavily depend on whether or not she can gain voters’ trust.
- Trump’s strongest point is also his greatest weakness: his rhetoric.
